Saturday Socials at Burnt Oak
Come and join us on Saturday afternoons in February and March. Our free indoor events include refreshments and there’s a different theme each week.
There’s a lot to look forward to, whether you’re interested in local heritage or fancy some gentle exercise. And there’ll be people on hand to help with health advice.
The venue is International Gospel Church, opposite Burnt Oak Library.
Saturday 22 February: 2pm- 4pm
Gentle gym – exercise and advice
Join us for seated exercise followed by refreshments and help with accessing health services online including the NHS App
- 45 minutes of relaxing seated exercise – led by an AgeUK trainer
- Intro to health info and advice online – led by a health ambassador
Saturday 1 March: no event

Lost Architecture in Colindale
Join us for a fascinating talk on Colindale’s rich history over the past 100-plus years
- We’ll be seeking out existing buildings and recent tributes as well as tracking the area’s transformation from fields to manufacturing to thriving residential area
- Presented by local resident Lisa Lu of Eclectic Tours
- To be followed by the usual refreshments and chance to chat

Now in their third year, Saturday Socials are hosted by Burnt Oak Partnership Board, your local town team.
The Burnt Oak Partnership Board brings people and stakeholders together to progress safety, accessibility, cleanliness and greening in our area. We meet monthly.
