By investing in climate-resilient infrastructure, Barnet is taking important steps to protect homes, green public spaces, and build a future-ready borough.

Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and Flood Alleviation Schemes (FAS) aim to reduce the risk of flooding and help work towards the council’s goal of becoming a Net Zero borough by 2042.

Our Flood and Water Management webpage provides further details on:

  • Flood and water management projects

What happens after the engagement or consultation closes?

Once a decision has been made, we will inform affected residents and businesses by letter and publish the results on the relevant consultation page.
