Barnet is proud to be a diverse borough in which people of different gender identities, nationalities, ethnicities and sexualities thrive. We want to emphasise our commitment to diversity and gender diverse inclusion throughout the borough.
As part of this, Barnet Council will be celebrating LGBTQ+ History Month this February, with the flying of the inclusive rainbow flag over Hendon Town Hall throughout the month.
This year’s LGBTQ+ History Month will also be supported by a programme of events in our libraries with author spotlight on LGBTQ+ Authors and speaker events within our libraries.
