About the Love Grahame Park community fund
Grahame Park residents, local groups and community organisations were invited to apply for grants between £2,000 - £5,000. Applications could be for a new or existing project (must be free or heavily subsidised) that is delivered in Grahame Park.
The Love Grahame Park Community Panel, made up of 11 residents of diverse ages, backgrounds and life experiences, co-designed this grant scheme. The panel agreed the funding priorities and criteria below, they also decided how the funds were distributed. The total grant pot is £25,000.

Accessible creative activities, focus on empowering individuals who traditionally face barriers to the arts.

Friends of Heybourne Park
Community clean ups and gardening activities run by an informal group of resident volunteers.

Funding priorities
Applications had to meet at least one of the following themes:
Boost health and well-being: This includes activities that improve mental and/or physical health. For example support groups and sports activities.
Build skills and capacity: For example, support skills development around employment, financial independence or digital inclusion
Bring people together: Create opportunities for people to connect, build understanding and develop relationships. This could be anything from arts and cultural projects to an inter-generational project
Criteria
Clear link to at least one of the priorities
Be community-led, involve local people through the project
Be Inclusive, accessible and clear benefits to local residents
Demonstrate effective planning and organisation
Have a viable budget, offering value for money
