The Love Grahame Park Community Participatory Fund is a programme that empowers local people to influence positive change in and around Grahame Park. Initially, the fund offers a small grants pot totalling £25,000. The programme is set to launch in early 2025
The grant pot will be co-designed with a residents’ panelwho will decide what the funding priorities will be and the amount of money available per bid. The panel will be made up of Grahame Park residents who are not typically involved in local decision-making, but who offer a wealth of knowledge through their lived experience.To support their involvement, the council and its partners will offer a capacity-building programme to equip panel members with the necessary skills and knowledge. Incentives will also be provided to those serving on the panel.
