Planning legislation requires Local Planning Authorities (LPAs) to review and update their Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) every 5 years. The council’s existing SCI was published back in 2018, and subsequent addendum in 2020. Since then, there have been changes to planning legislation as well as technological and digital advances which have changed the way that public consultation can be conducted, and the proposed 2025 draft Statement of Community Involvement reflect these changes.
Your views are important to us
Before finalising the Statement of Community Involvement, we are keen to get feedback from residents, businesses, developers, partners and any other interested stakeholders.
